We have already received over 200 responses to our survey about the Fitz Park Play area, which is fantastic, but we are looking for more!
There is also going to be an open event where people can come and see the initial plans that have been drawn up, and give their thoughts about it. We are proud to be working with Kompan on this project, who have installed a number of play areas recently, including Shiver me Timbers at Maryport. They have drawn up their ideas, a number of which have been mentioned in the survey already, so parents can come along, and see what we have in mind.
This event will be at the Crosthwaite Room, Keswick Museum (next to Cafe West), and will be open from 9am to 11am. We hope to catch parents who are there for Junior Park run, as well as anyone who wants to come and see them. There will be four Trustees of Fitz Park there, including the Chair, to answer any questions. Don’t worry if you can’t make it, there will be other events at different times to make sure we try and catch everyone!
